Angus Fire has vast experience in the protection of all types of fuel storage tanks.
Foam systems are normally the prime method of fire protection. These can be in the form of Base Injection or Top Pourer systems for fixed roof tanks, or Rimseal systems for floating roof tanks. The Floatafoam system provides additional protection for floating roof tanks and is employed as an automatic system designed to detect and extinguish tank rimseal fires in their infancy. The Big Flow Monitor systems can also be deployed on tanks where the floating roof has been damaged or sunk.
For all types of tank exposure protection can be provided in the form of fixed waterspray or fire water monitor systems.
